The language learning landscape is constantly evolving and our jobs as teachers are constantly being challenged by the introduction of new technologies. We thought that it was important for us to share our view on this, as language learning apps, online dictionaries and translation engines have become an ubiquitous part of the way we learn languages.
At Mylanguage, we stress the importance of human dialogue and interaction when learning a new language. Our curriculum is complemented with the use of apps, videos and other media, but we focus our efforts the most on getting the course part right. There are those rare exceptions that manage to learn and attain a decent language level by merely using an app,
but for most of us, a well-designed course remains the most satisfying and fun way to attain the desired language level.
